How does weekly riding work?

Our riding program operates on a subscription basis. Just like a gym membership, you pay a monthly fee for access to both our weekly horsemanship and riding classes. A subscription for one weekly riding lesson + weekly horsemanship (unmounted) lesson is $325/month.  Weekly riding lessons will occur on the same time and day each week. The weekly horsemanship class occurs on Saturdays at noon.

As riding is an all-weather sport we operate year-round. We shut down for one week each quarter to give our equine partners their well-deserved time off.

To cancel a subscription, three week’s notice is required.

Summer Camps

Our Summer Camps are a great way to immerse yourself in horses!

  • Horses teach kids responsibility, selflessness and respect

  • Horses can help kids build confidence and learn generosity of spirit

  • Horses help kids learn about leadership, empathy and forgiveness

  • Kids become more focused, mature and calm after spending time with horses

  • Riding develops core strength, balance and fine motor skills. It is a bilateral activity that uses both sides of the body equally

  • It is a healthy outdoor activity that can be enjoyed alone or in groups, and into adulthood
Getting your child involved in horses will take them on the adventure of a lifetime, provide exercise and a break from screens

What They Say

Jennifer has been coaching my daughter for about 4 months now and you can tell she has a passion for horses and teaching others how to respect horses and learn to ride/get better at riding. She starts with the basics to ensure her students have a solid foundation as they learn to ride. She is patient with the students and takes many opportunities to teach students more about horses. My daughter's skills has certainly improved over the past 4 months and we look forward to visiting the barn every week! What I love the most about Jennifer is how her students describe her commitment to them as human beings. One student told me how she had lost all confidence riding with a former instructor and how Jennifer helped rebuild her overall confidence and even got her comfortable with jumping again. Another student told me how Jennifer worked with her to use horseback riding as a form of therapy to build confidence and reduce anxiety. Another Mom told me how she and her daughter drive almost an hour twice a week because Jennifer is so attentive to them, makes them feel relaxed at the barn, and has really supported her daughter's horseback riding passion. My daughter feels so confident and empowered learning to ride -- she has learned how to persist when the horse doesn't immediately do what she wants it to do. She's learned to be patient and reward her horse for positive behavior. These are all life-long lessons that Jennifer cultivates in her students that will undoubtedly make them better humans.
