Middleburg Riding is expanding - we recently opened up a few more spots for weekly lessons. (These won’t stay open for long) We help children and adults of all ages learn all the fundamentals of horseback riding and horse care under the careful guidance of our expert instructors and well schooled lesson horses.
We provide everything - the horse, the equipment, the instruction, the fun - you provide the most important ingredient - YOU (or your child). Our curriculum-based program coupled with experienced instructors and well trained horses provide the highest quality riding experience.
We specialize in creating highly capable, confident riders - in addition to becoming competent horse people - we most often watch our students grow as empathetic, responsible people.
Horseback riding is not only great exercise and a sport that lasts a lifetime - but the barn is also a great place to make friends, learn to become more assertive, build self-esteem, and become more responsible. Plus, there is nothing more exhilarating than being on the back of a horse.
Middleburg Riding is a structured hunter/jumper riding school that has a deep love for developing riders and knowledgeable horse-people. We offer camps, both day camps during the school year, and summer camps. For more information, see our CAMPS page.

Evaluation Lesson
Buy one lesson before subscribing! Evaluation lessons are private assessments of horse skills. Assessment will be 60 minutes and includes introduction to our facility and policies as well as a riding evaluation.
COST IS $85. Decide to subscribe with us? We'll credit the cost of your assessment toward your first month's subscription!
Weekly Riding Subscription + School Horse Use
Subscribe with us! Your monthly payment gives 8 opportunities each month to interact with our horses: access to a weekly lesson on the same day and time, access to our weekly horsemanship class (noon to 1 PM on Saturdays in The Plains), and first access to clinics, camps, shows, etc.
THIS MEMBERSHIP INCLUDES USE OF OUR LESSON HORSES.
COST IS $325/monthly.
Want to ride twice weekly? Cost is $650/month.
Horsemanship Class Monthly Subscription
Subscribe to our weekly horsemanship class on Saturdays from noon to 1 PM. Be with our horses, to learn about horse care, training methods, anatomy, barn management, and more. Each week will be a different topic and will be open to people of all riding and experience levels.
COST IS $100/month.
